9X Fun

This playful children’s book transforms math into an exciting adventure, proving that numbers can be just as engaging as storytelling! Featuring a clever little mouse as the guide, the book introduces young readers to the 9X table through colourful illustrations and lively cartoon storytelling.

Using my personal vector art style, I crafted dynamic and visually engaging scenes that simplify multiplication while keeping kids entertained. The biggest challenge was ensuring mathematical concepts felt intuitive and enjoyable rather than intimidating. By embracing humour, expressive character designs, and patterns that naturally unfold, I made sure each page sparks curiosity and makes learning feel effortless.

Close collaboration with the author was key to refining the balance between education and entertainment, ensuring the book delivers an effective, fun approach to math. My proudest achievement in this project is helping young learners see the beauty in numbers - turning multiplication into an exciting discovery rather than a challenge.
