How Danny Found His Brave

This inspiring children’s book takes young readers on an adventurous quest where Danny must confront his fears and discover the true meaning of courage. Using my personal colourful vector style, I brought Danny’s journey to life - capturing his emotions as he transitions from fear to empowerment.

One of the biggest challenges in illustrating this story was ensuring Danny’s expressions reflected his evolving confidence. Every moment, from his initial fear of everyday objects to his triumphant confrontation with the dragons, had to be visually engaging and emotionally authentic. Through constant collaboration with the author, I refined the character’s emotions and storytelling details to perfectly align with their vision.

My greatest achievement in this project was successfully conveying Danny’s transformation, allowing readers to feel his growth and bravery with every turn of the page
